How do you do.
I'm an actor, comedian, and writer based in Brooklyn, New York. I perform improv, sketch, and stand up comedy in venues and festivals across New York City.
After graduating from Barnard in 2015 with a degree in Psycholinguistics, I merged my academic knowledge of communication and the human psyche with dynamic performance, resulting in distinctly reflective, absurdist shows. In 2017, I was named one of Mogul's "New York City Comedians To Look Out For In 2018.” I am currently a resident performer at the People's Improv Theater and launched a six month run of my solo show “Simone Norman Is: Intrusive” at the PIT in January of 2019. I've guest starred in several local web series, small independent films, and has shot for national commercial print campaigns. In addition, I deeply enjoy political activism and local civic engagement; in 2018, I held a staff position on the campaign of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for Congress.
